About The Role

Reporting to the Manager,Field Operations Reactor Decommissioning, you will manage domestic or international fixed price decommissioning projects ensuring that we deliver as planned and according to budget. As an individual contributor, you'll lead internal and external communication during project execution and negotiations on additional scope. You'll increase short- and long-term profitability and strengthen long-term service delivery relationships.

The work will be performed from different Nuclear Facilities in Belgium and we're looking for candidates willing to relocate or accept long-term assignments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead/Participate in consortium/partner development during offer phase and Lead consortium and partners in execution of contracts
  • Promote a culture that ensures positive Human Performance behaviors; ensure project personnel have the awareness and understanding of industry, customer and Westinghouse expectations.
  • Deliver MAD greater than or equal to MAS – Projects to be delivered safely with high quality, and first time execution success.
  • Understand problems and points of view and communicate on broad range of technical disciplines to resolve technical, commercial, and regulatory issues.
  • Prepare execution strategies and cost estimates for new projects.
  • Use and support Westinghouse project management systems and controls for multiple projects assuring senior management is provided with up-to-date and accurate reports of each project status.
  • Support financial planning goals.
  • Develop and support WEC and partner relationships
  • Resolve complex technical, commercial and operational issues to provide high quality services/systems, enhance positive customer and supplier relations, and increase/maintain profit margin.
  • Negotiate with customers and suppliers to obtain contracts which contribute revenue growth, profit margin and manage contract changes.
  • Establish and maintain project organization with cooperation with resource managers.
  • Emphasize personal leadership/behavior of Industrial and Nuclear Safety and learning on your projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering or recognized equivalent.
  • PMI Certification or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-10 years project management experience, preferably within the Nuclear industry.
  • Experience developing/implementing new business opportunities.
  • Experience with Decommissioning and Dismantling activities or plant operations
  • Language Skills: French and English or Flemish and English (must be Business Proficient in both languages).
