We need an English-fluent Senior Backend Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend solutions using Next.js and TypeScript.
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with RAG stages to ensure efficient software delivery.
Integrate audio/video processing capabilities using ffmpeg or equivalent tools into our applications.
Architect and implement event-driven architectures to support real-time data processing and messaging.
Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and other IaC tools.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development, testing, and production environments.

Requirements:

10+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
Proficiency in Next.js and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of API design and microservices architecture.
Experience working with Nest.js.
Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with RAG stages for continuous integration and deployment.
Strong command of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and proficiency with related tools like Terraform.
Previous hands-on experience with audio/video processing tools like ffmpeg.
Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and message brokers.
Experience working in a startup environment, comfortable with rapid scaling and iteration.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. (C1 minimum).

Compensation:

The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $5,000 - $7,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
