Veeam is looking for an experienced, innovative Director to evolve our approach to launch strategy and project management – implementing new processes, tools, and ways of collaborating across the company to maximize product launch planning and awareness.

The highly skilled Director has a vital and visible role at Veeam to lead the growth, innovation, and transformation of our SaaS business which is a priority for the company. We are looking for someone who has the right balance of seasoned experience and hunger to build from infancy the launch strategy planning and process at scale.  The position works closely with Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Customer Support, and the Executive team. Having a mix of project/program management, operations, consensus building, and an ability to coordinate resources from a variety of supporting teams is vital to success. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Head of Launch Strategy to implement strategies that support our new team’s charter and mission of creating a customer-centric process to maximize product launch planning and awareness
  • Bring latest generation ideas, processes, and tools to achieve our mission of a customer centric launch strategy for new products and services
  • Be the single source of information and project management of all elements of the product launch process including development and execution of cross-functional launch plans and driving cross functional readiness.
  • Build, maintain, and communicate product launch plans including tracking deliverables, milestones, risks and dependencies from the cross functional launch team
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, explore contingencies, and provide escalation management throughout a new product launch.
  • Communicate and understand launch readiness, timelines, and deliverables to the organization in a timely manner, at appropriate depth for each stakeholder function.
  • Report on launch metrics and benchmarking to provide ongoing insights for on the performance and impact of product launches into the market
  • Identify new operations methodologies to apply to product launches leveraging the analysis of current state to identify solutions
  • Assist in the attainment of launch efficiency through the development and implementation of enhancements to planning and process based on launch outcomes.
  • Thrives in ambiguity and proactively looks for opportunities to streamline and improve processes
  • Highly driven self-starter with excellent communication, organization, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Able to effectively operate as a matrix project manager in coordinating people and resources from multiple areas of the company, desire to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to project manage serval initiative with strong attention to detail, and prioritize across multiple tasks/items
Requirements: 
  • Education: BS/BA required; MBA, PMP a plus
  • Expertise: Knowledge of the Cloud and SaaS business model, Go-To-Market motions, and Operations
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in Operations or Marketing Operations
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience with indirect management of teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to align product launch  initiatives with business goals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence others.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Change Management: Experience leading change initiatives and managing organizational transformations.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee multiple HR initiatives and ensure successful implementation.

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$168,700$241,000 USD
