Our client, a leading marketing agency specializing in impactful communications for government clients, is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join their team on a project basis. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while their current graphic designer is out of office. You will play a crucial role in bringing client visions to life through compelling visuals across various platforms.
As a Graphic Designer, You Will
Create visually engaging assets for digital campaigns, utilizing existing templates and adapting them for various platforms.
Develop original and creative design concepts for campaigns and projects, presenting ideas to the team and clients.
Design professional and impactful outreach materials, including posters, flyers, and presentations.
Maintain strict adherence to established brand guidelines across all projects.
Collaborate with project managers, writers, and other designers to ensure project success.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
Incorporate feedback from clients and team members to refine and improve designs.
Organize and maintain design files and assets efficiently.
Must-Have Qualifications
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally with experience working on government-related projects or within highly regulated industries.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills, including digital design, print design, and concept development.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
Ability to work within established brand guidelines and adapt designs accordingly.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a strong eye for visual consistency and quality.
Ability to work independently and remotely, as needed.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with presentation design (PowerPoint, Google Slides)
Understanding of accessibility guidelines
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $25 to $35 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
