We are looking for experienced team players to fill the Cobol-Java Solution Architect position and participate in our up-and-coming project for our client from the banking industry.

You can expect:

Providing solution architecture guidance for prioritized epics across a wide range of applications and platforms. This includes systems related to equities, funds, insurances, and other savings products.
Working in a complex landscape involving Java and Mainframe (Cobol) technologies. Some applications are set to be migrated or decommissioned, so experience with system transformation is highly valued.

Requirements

6–8 years of experience in Solution Architecture
Strong background in Java-based systems
Understanding of the banking domain, preferably in Savings (equities, funds, insurances, etc.) OR Solid understanding of the banking domain, with a strong preference for experience in the Lending space—such as loans, credit, and mortgage products
Experience with multi-platform environments (Mainframe and distributed systems)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have:

Experience with Mainframe (Cobol) systems
Experience in application migration and decommissioning
SAFe 4 Certified Agilist or similar Agile/SAFe certification
Previous experience supporting transition or onboarding of new team members
