As a successful Senior Vice President of Product Automation, you will lead the strategy and execution of end-to-end automation for our product delivery pipeline across cloud and PaaS environments. You'll transform how we develop, test, deploy, and operate our digital products and solutions by building advanced automation capabilities that increase velocity, reliability, and efficiency within multi-cloud and PaaS ecosystems. This role requires a unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise to revolutionize our cloud-native product delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the comprehensive automation strategy for our cloud and PaaS-based product and solution delivery ecosystem
- Partner with executive leadership to align product automation initiatives with business objectives and growth targets
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
Delivery Automation
- Architect and implement next-generation CI/CD pipelines and delivery workflows
- Establish automated testing, quality assurance, and validation processes
- Leverage infrastructure-as-cod and configuration management systems for product delivery
- Develop intelligent release management and progressive delivery capabilities for cloud-native applications
Operational Excellence
- Create unified observability, monitoring, and feedback loops across the delivery pipeline
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure and optimize delivery performance
- Design automated incident response, recovery, and remediation systems
- Drive value stream mapping and continuous process improvement initiatives for product deployments
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with platform engineering and SRE teams to extend and enhance existing cloud capabilities
- Work closely with product teams to understand delivery requirements and pain points
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to optimize the cloud-native software development lifecycle
- Build relationships with client operations to ensure cloud automation meets business needs
Technical Governance
- Establish standards, best practices, and governance for cloud automation implementation
- Optimize multi-cloud resource utilization and cost management across products
- Ensure security, compliance, and risk management throughout the automation framework
- Create disaster recovery and business continuity processes across cloud product delivery
Qualifications
- 15+ years of technology experience with 10+ years leading product delivery or engineering teams
- Deep expertise in cloud delivery automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proven track record transforming product delivery processes at enterprise scale across cloud environments
- Experience with PaaS offerings and containerized application deployment models
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams of 30+ technical professionals
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern automation technologies
- Demonstrated success improving delivery velocity, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
