Baptist Health is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity Data Analytics Nurse to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN
Clinical Documentation Auditor/Educator is accountable to ensuring the overall quality of clinical documentation integrity functions across Baptist Health. Auditor/Educator assists the CDI team, physicians, and hospital staff to constantly improve the integrity of medical record documentation utilizing their clinical validation and coding expertise. The Auditor/Educator will provide guidance on documentation best practices by keeping up-to-date knowledge of Coding Clinic, coding guidelines, and clinical validation criteria.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required
Bachelor’s degree with three years acute healthcare nursing experience including two years clinical documentation integrity
experience; In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, an associate degree in nursing with five years acute healthcare experience including two years clinical documentation integrity experience.
Knowledge of ICD10-CM coding principles and procedures, DRG assignment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, data entry and data retrieval systems, Encoder, and internet.
Valid Kentucky or Indiana Licensure as a Registered Nurse, CCDS and/or CDIP, member of ACDIS or AHIM
