Job description

Job Description:

Baptist Health Medical Group is looking for a Human Resource Business Partner to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN

The HRBP serves as a fully integrated member of an assigned business unit by providing comprehensive HR consultation and support services to business operations. Maximizes the effectiveness of leaders and contributes to the achievement of strategic objectives. Assists HR leadership with projects, as requested.

Essential Functions:

  • Understands the strategic initiatives for assigned business units and aligns HR goals and metrics to support business initiatives.

  • Builds strong win-win relationships with strategic partners to deliver on key initiatives (e.g., operations leaders).

  • Provides coaching to leaders on employment matters and serves as a trusted advisor.

  • Assists in solving problems associated with talent/people.

  • Serves as a strategic partner within the HR team by collaborating, communicating and contributing to the team.

  • Focuses on performance management to improve productivity of assigned scope of responsibilities.

  • Assists with developing and delivering training based on identified needs.

  • Monitors compliance with workplace policies and practices.

  • Develops and distributes reporting on key HR metrics to operations leaders (i.e. turnover, engagement, recruiting stats, dashboards, etc.).

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Communications Business or related field with two years' experience

  • Ten plus years direct experience in lieu of degree

  • SHRM-SCP/CP or SPHR/PHR certifications strongly preferred

  • Workday and Microsoft Office Suite experience strongly preferred
