THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to our MMS (Marketplace Management Systems) team in Brazil!

At the Marketplace Management Systems (MMS) team, we build the heart of the Wellhub business model. Our mission is to help Wellhub build a truly scalable platform to support dozens of millions of active users, clients, and partners around the world with high availability while being flexible and extensible to incorporate new business models.

We are responsible for the marketplace management systems, aimed to optimize the marketplace value for our users and partners while sustaining healthy margins for Wellhub. We look forward to developing sophisticated tools, pipelines, and predictive models to provide the best of the Wellhub partners to our users in an optimal setting. We develop services responsible for providing offers (Pricing), plans, restrictions of usage, etc., to be used by the entire ecosystem.

YOUR IMPACT
  • Develop, deliver, test, deploy, maintain and improve solutions working with a cross-functional team;
  • Write maintainable code and tests;
  • Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in the production environment, as well as in writing useful and critical post-mortems;
  • Support existing systems looking to enhance functionality, increase scale, and transform in new ways to meet our product demands;
  • Work in a collaborative and agile environment that prioritises people over process and is laser-focused on productivity;
  • Guides fellow front-end developers on the team, contributing to the definition of best practices and the engineering evolution roadmap;

WHO YOU ARE
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience;
  • Experienced in developing front-end based on RESTful APIs, collaborating with back-end teams to create mocks, define payloads, and follow best practices for HTTP;
  • Experience with the ReactJS ecosystem;
  • Experience with automated, unit, and behavioural testing of react components;
  • Software quality and test automation mindset;
  • Experience with monitoring and observability front-end applications;
  • Good understanding of how a browser works behind the scenes;
  • Familiarity with NodeJS and the Backend For Front (BFF) pattern is nice to have;
  • Knowledge of SQL technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and understanding common use cases, is nice to have;
  • Communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams located in several countries with different cultures;
  • Strong business-oriented mindset, working closely and collaboratively on product definition and evolution;
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese.
