Job Opening: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) – Massachusetts

Location: Boston,  Massachusetts

Job Types: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Competitive pay and incentives: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with couples, families, and individuals using systemic approaches. This position offers flexibility in scheduling, opportunities for telehealth and in-person sessions, and clinical support within a well-established practice. What will you do?
  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, both virtually and/or in person
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and professional standards
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when needed
  • Maintain active licensure and compliance with state regulations
  • Optionally participate in community outreach, workshops, or psychoeducation events

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited program
  • Current and active LMFT license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience (supervised hours may be considered)
  • Strong clinical skills in family systems, couples therapy, and trauma-informed care
  • Comfortable using technology for telehealth sessions and EHR systems
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to cultural humility and inclusive, client-centered care
