Minimum 2.5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in invoice processing and vendor management. Proficiency in using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero (preferred), or SAP, along with advanced skills in MS Excel for financial reporting and analysis. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Core responsibilities:

Process supplier invoices promptly and accurately, ensuring all supporting documentation and approvals are in place before payment. Manage the timely and accurate recording of all payments in the financial system, ensuring correct allocation to accounts. Reconcile supplier statements with company records to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Maintain strong communication with suppliers, addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues in a professional manner. Generate regular accounts payable reports, including aged payables and reconciliation summaries, for review by management. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations, including adherence to tax and GST requirements. Assist in improving accounts payable processes by identifying inefficiencies and contributing to system or workflow enhancements.
