Principal Architect and Integration Engineer (VLSI)

Overview 

Integrella has a highly motivated and experienced executive team that are driving an ambitious business plan delivering end to end Data Sharing/Integration, API Enablement, and Data Migration Services to clients in the UK, Middle East and beyond. We would like to keep levelling-up our capabilities, deepen the foundations for growth with the introduction of a new Principal Architect and Integration Engineer to the team.

The Principal Architect and Integration Engineer is a pivotal role responsible for co-leading the technological vision, strategy, and its execution for Integrella Vendor Licenced Solutions & Integration (VLSI) business. This leadership role aligns technology, engineering, and works with delivery and sales to drive towards the overall business objectives for VLSI. Moreover, this individual will drive innovation, efficiency, competitive advantage for VLSI and ensure successful engineering outcomes for our clients.

This role not only sets our destination for technology but also works closely, hands-on with our development centres to plot a route to this target.

The role operates across all regions, development centres, industry sectors and clients for VLSI.

Main Responsibilities

1.     Technology Strategy Key contributor to the technology strategy for the business, setting a north star, and driving excellence for our adoption and implementation of technologies to deliver Data Sharing/Integration, API Enablement, and Data Migration Services now and into the future.

2.     Customer Facing This technical leader will represent technology in the public eye, can think quick on their feet and are a confidence building communicator in client meetings and events. They will be active in supporting account meetings, project status reviews, presales, and marketing

3.     Delivery Best Practices They will ensure a high bar is set for best practices, where good enough is not good enough, teams challenge themselves to keep improving and a comprehensive set of methodologies and standards is used across all client engagements.

4.     Engineering & Delivery Personnel Working with our global Development Centres they will ensure that in recruitment we attract and bring in the best talent, including getting hands-on with recruitment activities. Setting objective parameters for staff development and grading, ensuring that staff are developed to their potential and prepared for new grades or promotions.

5.     Measurable Outcomes Establish and maintain key performance metrics that measure effectiveness of technology, people development and best practices.

6.     Architecture, Planning & Delivery They will oversee the architecting of client solutions, planning and contribute to client engagements with our development centres and manage the efficacy of any third-party vendor relations. When required they will leverage their technical expertise to design and build solutions in appropriate technologies, taking the role of a senior developer/architect.

7.     Innovation Stays abreast of contemporary trends in technology. They will need to keep up with market trends and identify new opportunities for the company, ensuring these align with business goals and the needs of our client base. 

8.     Compliance, Regulation & Cyber Security Creating, improving, and reinforcing both VLSI only and company-wide policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulation and Cyber Security.

Reporting & Relationships

Reporting line is directly to the Managing Director of Delivery.

The role will develop high performing relationships with the VLSI leadership team and directly with engineering and delivery personnel, predominantly based in our India development centre but also in other locations as required. Hyper-focused on industry best practices, they will encourage growth through constructive criticism, regular feedback, and timely performance evaluations.

There should also be periodic contact with their TES (Technical Engineering Solutions Business Unit) counterpart to ensure that synergies are exploited across the business units are realised for Integrella through standardisation, reuse and repurpose.

 Also, when required this role may also be called upon to lead company-wide technology initiatives.

·       Lead technology teams and implementations across Data Sharing/Integration, API Enablement, and Data Migration Services.

·       Delivered the role or similar in a service delivery organisation. Candidates that have not fulfilled the role previously but have strong demonstrable evidence they can take the next step in their career into this role may also be considered.

·       Excellent focus on service delivery. Knows what “great looks like” and was the benchmark of excellence for clients, competitors, or peers.

·       Experience in at least one of Recruitment, Healthcare, or Financial Service industries, with the ability to quickly develop domain knowledge in less familiar sectors.

·       Consultancy experience or solid evidence collaborating directly with clients; particularly consultative selling and guiding clients on industry benchmarks and best practices for decision-making with technology.

·       Ability to travel to UK, Dubai, India, or other countries.
