The Client is seeking for a Clinical Informatics Specialist who will facilitate the improvement and enablement of healthcare delivery transformation through the use of information and communication technology. The focus is to provide efficient, effective information management and communication technology processes across the provincial health sector.
Requirements
Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Nursing.
Valid Prosci Change Management Certification.
Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
10 years’ experience working with stakeholders in a healthcare environment to implement changes to clinical workflow.
7 years’ experience involved in the implementation of clinical information systems in a healthcare environment in an analysis role.
5 years’ experience developing and delivering training for information systems to clinical users including nurses and physicians.
5 years’ experience implementing the Allscripts or Altera suite of products in an acute care setting.
1 year of experience conducting and compiling privacy impact assessments for healthcare record systems to assess their compliance with provincial regulations.
