xScion is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions with a strong emphasis on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). This role requires expertise in ServiceNow's UI Policy, UI Builder, and Workspace Builder, as well as a proficiency in both pro-code and low-code development approaches. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating complex business requirements into intuitive and efficient ServiceNow applications.

 

As a ServiceNow Engineer, You Will: 

  • ServiceNow UI/UX Development:
    • Design and develop user-friendly and visually appealing ServiceNow interfaces using UI Builder and Workspace Builder.
    • Implement UI Policies to control form behavior and enhance data accuracy.
    • Optimize the user experience to improve efficiency and satisfaction.
  • Workflow Automation:
    • Develop and configure ServiceNow workflows to automate business processes.
    • Utilize both pro-code (JavaScript, Glide) and low-code (Flow Designer) approaches to implement automation solutions.
  • Requirements Analysis:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ServiceNow solutions.  
  • ServiceNow Configuration and Customization:
    • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and others.
    • Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations with other systems.
  • Testing and Deployment:
    • Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
    • Develop and execute deployment plans.
  • Documentation:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow solutions.

To Be Successful, You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Engineer
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow UI Policy, UI Builder, and Workspace Builder
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including JavaScript, Glide, and Flow Designer
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Permanent Residency required.

Preferred Skills: 

  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM)
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience with REST API integrations.
