The Role:

Launch is seeking an Senior Enterprise Account Executive with a proven record of success selling IT consulting and professional services into the SLED (State, Local, and Education) market. This high-impact role will focus on driving strategic business growth, securing new enterprise-level accounts, and expanding relationships across executive, operational, and procurement stakeholders.

As a trusted advisor, you will deeply understand client challenges and position Launch’s solutions to align with their mission-critical objectives. Your ability to shape client roadmaps, influence key decisions, and close complex multi-million-dollar deals will be critical. You will work collaboratively with internal delivery, recruiting, and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution and long-term client success.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new revenue growth and consistently exceed sales quotas through strategic account acquisition and expansion

  • Build executive-level relationships within City, County, State, and Education agencies

  • Design and execute territory plans with a focus on enterprise IT transformation, modernization, and professional services

  • Lead complex sales cycles from initial engagement through deal closure, including executive briefings, proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation

  • Navigate procurement processes including RFPs, RFIs, CMAS, cooperative purchasing agreements, and other public sector contracting mechanisms

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align client needs with delivery capabilities and talent strategies

  • Maintain CRM rigor with accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and key performance metrics

  • Represent Launch at high-profile industry events, panels, and public sector conferences to elevate brand presence and thought leadership

  • Serve as a strategic partner to clients, identifying long-term opportunities and driving account growth strategies

Required Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of successful enterprise sales experience in the public sector (SLED) with a focus on IT consulting, digital transformation, or professional services

  • Demonstrated success in closing high-value deals ($7M+ annually) and managing complex sales cycles

  • Deep expertise in public sector procurement, contracting vehicles, and vendor engagement best practices

  • Polished communicator with the ability to influence C-level executives, procurement officials, and technical stakeholders

  • Proven leadership in account strategy, client development, and cross-functional collaboration

  • Self-starter with exceptional business acumen and results-oriented mindset

Preferred Experience:

  • Established relationships within state and local agencies or educational institutions

  • Familiarity with government technology priorities such as cloud adoption, AI, digital services, and data-driven decision-making

  • Experience in navigating cooperative purchasing vehicles or statewide contracts (e.g., NASPO, CMAS, TDDC, etc.)
