Key Responsibilities
Agile Product Ownership

Act as Product Owner in an agile team (e.g. participate in standups, sprint planning, retros) for multiple plugins
Own and maintain the product backlog for assigned plugins
Write clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical context where needed
Prioritise backlog based on business goals, customer feedback, and tech constraints

Feature Planning & Delivery

Collaborate with the Plugins Lead to break down roadmap initiatives into executable features
Align sprint goals with plugin business goals and customer outcomes
Ensure features are shipped on time and meet the acceptance criteria
Team Collaboration
Work closely with plugin engineers to clarify requirements and unblock progress
Facilitate tight feedback loops between engineers, designers, and support teams
Provide ongoing product direction during development and testing
Customer & Data Insight
Gather and synthesise customer feedback, bug reports, and support trends
Maintain product ideas board to collect customer feedback and track demand for features
Manage various public feedback forums
Conduct customer discovery calls to gain insight into customer usage and pain points
Technical Awareness
Maintain a basic understanding of plugin architectures and integration considerations
Translate non-technical needs into structured requirements that engineers can build against

Skills & Experience:

2–4 years experience in product management or technical product ownership, ideally with WordPress plugins or SaaS integrations
Comfortable working in an agile development environment
Strong communication and documentation skills
Analytical mindset, able to prioritize based on data and impact
Experience writing user stories, specs, and managing backlogs
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Linear, or Shortcut; and collaborative tools like Miro, Figma, Slack
