Location: Remote
Duration: 8 Months Contract

Clearance Requirement: Must have or be willing to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Onboarding Requirement: Successful onboarding with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), including fingerprinting, training for a PIV card, and access to the VA environment

Job Description:
Our Client is seeking a Lead IT Asset Management (ITAM) - Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Technical Consultant to provide expert guidance and advisory support in IT asset configuration and management. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of the customer, ensuring efficient asset tracking, compliance, and optimization within the VA environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic guidance on IT asset management (ITAM) with a focus on Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
Work closely with stakeholders to configure and optimize IT asset tracking systems
Ensure compliance with VA policies and regulatory standards for IT asset lifecycle management
Support onboarding processes, including PIV card setup and VA system access
Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for IT asset utilization and cost optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance asset visibility and reporting
