This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 20 hours a week Monday to Friday, flexible hours with meetings at 7 AM MST

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled bookkeeper to take ownership of complex financial operations for multiple clients. You’ll work directly with US-based businesses, managing their complete financial picture from daily transactions to sophisticated reporting. This role offers significant growth potential and the chance to apply advanced accounting principles while working with both QuickBooks Desktop and Online platforms. You’ll be instrumental in delivering high-quality financial services, with a particular focus on maintaining pristine balance sheets and creating detailed financial reports that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive bookkeeping operations for a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Create and maintain immaculate balance sheets and financial records
  • Design and generate sophisticated quarterly financial reports
  • Process and reconcile payroll transactions with precision
  • Develop custom financial reports for special projects and audits
  • Perform regular account reconciliations and error detection
  • Prepare polished financial documentation for CPA tax preparation
  • Collaborate directly with business leadership on financial strategies
  • Implement best practices for financial record keeping
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives



Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience with demonstrated expertise
  • Advanced proficiency in both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
  • Strong command of balance sheet accounting principles and applications
  • Proven experience with payroll processing and management
  • Excellence in English communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Proven track record of maintaining client confidentiality
