Job Description

Shift: 1st shift

Days of Work: Monday – Friday

Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00 pm

Work Location: Remote

Starting Salary: $75,467 to $105,654 Annually

Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly

Position Objective:

The Software Developer will review and analyze project specifications/requirements and formulate a plan outlining the steps needed to complete the project. They will develop and/or modify the application system and/or programs to include encoding, testing, debugging and documenting. This position needs to be familiar with a variety of information technology concepts, practices, and procedures. The Software Developer will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  May lead and direct the work of others.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value
  • Rewriting old application into newer languages and improving functionality.
  • Collaborate with the team on application architecture design and decision-making
  • Develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
  • Provide alternate design solutions along with project estimates
  • Troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions. Ability to solve complex production issues
  • Predicts emerging needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them
  • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
  • Participates in the development of business strategy
  • Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches
  • May lead and direct the work of others.

Experience/Skills:

  • Due to government contracts, must be a sole US Citizen
  • 1+ years SQL Server / Oracle Database development experience with writing queries & stored procedures PL SQL, XML
  • 2+ years working with the .NET framework, including ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET
  • 2+ years working experience in Windows Application Development using object-oriented design constructs
  • Relational database experience
  • Manufacturing Industry experience (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Internet technologies including web services (IIS)
  • Web Application Development. JavaScript, CSS, html5

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another related field
