An exciting opportunity has arisen with QIAGEN in Turkiye for a Field Service Engineer based in Istanbul to support our customers in the region. In this rewarding position you will provide an on-site equipment service for our customers. You will play a key role in solving customer technical problems with QIAGEN & non-QIAGEN solutions whilst increasing the knowledge of QIAGEN & non-QIAGEN solutions.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide a prompt, professional, and accurate advisory service to our customers in Turkiye as well as our international customers.

- Acquire and apply the constantly changing knowledge in terms of technology, products, and processes.

- Effectively prioritize existing tasks and their efficient handling in respect to the needs of our customers and the team.

- Support customers outside of the designated territory as required including occasional cross-border support as required.

Position Requirements

- A service provider mindset with an engineering background; degree qualified from the department of Physics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar.

- Ability to use electrical and electronic knowledge and skills using relevant tools and equipment.

- Experience with computer and server network infrastructures and experience of laboratory equipment would be a plus.

- Fluent in Turkish and English in a professional context (any additional language is a plus) with good communication and interpersonal skills at all business levels.

- Physically capable to hold heavy equipment.

- Ability to handle extensive workloads showing flexibility and self-organization in a closely cooperating team.

- Willingness and availability to travel extensively including occasional travel within EMEA - having the necessary features for car use.

- Completed military service where relevant.
