Responsibilities

Develop and manage the claims and litigation process.

  • Responsible for management of hospital and physician professional liability claims and litigation program.
  • Identify claims trends and partner with risk management in order to mitigate exposure and promote patient safety.
  • Assist with implementation of early resolution program/training and support early resolution efforts.
  • Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

Requirements

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate degree required.

Work Experience

  • 5 years of experience as licensed, practicing attorney required.
