Job description

SUMMARY

The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and administering transfer agent system functions, with an emphasis on specific output or services.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

SYSTEM SUPPORT

  • Documents client requirements and maintains shareholder recordkeeping system to meet client needs.
  • Serves as lead in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • May contribute to building process documentation.
  • May assist with conversion testing.
  • May assist with system upgrade analysis and testing and configuring fund databases for production implementation.
  • Runs periodic batch and reporting jobs.
  • Reviews and approves client output.
  • May assist with vendor and client billing functions.


WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

  • Mentors associates through instruction, coaching, providing real-time on-the-job experiences, modeling effective practices, and advising on methods used.
  • Mediates between technical and operational teams to ensure successful client onboarding and effective change control.
  • Serves as a point of contact for internal and external customers to answer questions about services and related systems functions.
  • Contact as needed with clients regarding resolution of issues, inquiries, or reporting requirements.
  • Contact with members of team and internal teams regarding follow-up on inquiries, open workflow, etc.

May perform other duties as required and assigned.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the mutual fund industry.


KNOWLEDGE

  • Shareholder recordkeeping system, reporting, and output processes.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adobe Acrobat.
