Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to oversee all day-to-day property management functions within their region. As a Regional Director, your primary responsibilities are the pursuit of operational excellence, standardizing operations in a way that enables scale and supports growth and delivering on expected market level margin targets. This key role leads large and diverse teams and contributes as much to the company’s success as to their own region’s. Excelling in this role demands high expectations of yourself and of your team, a relentless focus on our clients, a “whatever it takes” attitude, strategic thinking and lastly creativity, because scaling a property management business nationally has never been done before. The ideal candidate has a background in real estate, considers leadership one of their core competencies, loves problem solving and has a history of executing at the highest levels in large and complex customer facing businesses. The Regional Director reports directly to the VP of Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all property management operations within your region.
  • Lead, guide and support your market leaders.
  • Recruit, train and develop your team. Provide coaching and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Nurture and foster a client centric culture focused on exceeding expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Implement and drive adoption of policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all markets.
  • Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring that expenses are controlled, revenue targets are met, and profitability is achieved. Hold market leaders accountable.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions to ensure staff are meeting performance standards.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the region to identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication, coordination, and cooperation across the organization.
  • Partner with central team leaders to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Manage escalations as needed.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Champion the Evernest core values and lead by example.


Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • 7+ years of experience in property management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational challenges and opportunities.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven and well-informed decisions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support regional operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, related field, or the equivalent of directly applicable work experience. A master's degree is preferred.
