Our team develops innovative solutions crucial to the monitoring and management of the Akamai Intelligent Platform. As a participant in our program, you will gain valuable experience and contribute through meaningful project work. You will have the opportunity to join us for training, networking events, and engagements with company leadership. Our internships are open to students and graduates.

Duration: 6 months

Salary: 45 PLN gross/h

Partner with the best

You will work with a diverse team to develop, test, and integrate features into our network systems. This team develops automation for our operations and performance & reliability teams.

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Developing new features, enhancing systems and optimizing existing functionality from conception and design through testing and deployment
• Working on projects that make our network more stable, faster, and secure
• Presenting status updates to key stakeholders regularly while participating in software design and project planning and monitoring its performance in production
• Working with our development QA and system QA teams to come up with regression tests that cover new changes to our software
  
  

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be a student of Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Have practical knowledge in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python.
• Be comfortable working in Linux/Unix environment
• Be familiar with a SQL database, like Postgresql
• Have knowledge of common internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS and/or TLS/SSL

Our 6-month interm program starts in July. The program requires you to be available 40 hours per week during summer months (July-September). We offer the opportunity to work part-time during the academic year (October-December).

This is a flexible role and may be performed at your home and/or the local Akamai office (in the country advertised). We are happy to discuss working options in this role and encourage you to speak with your recruiter in more details when you apply.
