The service field engineer is responsible for and repair of ultrasound medical devices in Western Switzerland (french speaking cantons).

Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Scheduled maintenance and repair of ultrasound medical devices in accordance with technical documentation and/or modification instructions;
  • Independent diagnosis and solution of technical problems at the customer site as well as problem solving using remote diagnosis as a regional online engineer
  • Completion of all administrative tasks on time (in particular daily service reports, weekly worksheets, maintenance logs and other required documents);
  • Regular participation in training courses for technical innovations, also abroad Switzerland;
  • Maintenance of tools/instruments and test equipment and ensuring that they are calibrated.

Required Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and certified technical training in the fields of electronics / mechanics / electrical engineering (work experience in the medical sector appreciated);
  • Basic knowledge of IT tools dedicated to the diagnosis and connectivity of devices;
  • Predisposition to teamwork and integration into the company organization chart;
  • Fluency in verbal and written French and English essential (knowledge of German and/or Italian appreciated);
  • Ability to work independently and versatile;
  • Initiative and ability to quickly learn any new information;
  • Efficiency in planning and organizing work

  • Know and comply with the GEHC quality manual, the quality management system and objectives, as well as the applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this type of job/position;
  • Comply with health, environmental and safety standards and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements;
