The service field engineer is responsible for and repair of ultrasound medical devices in Western Switzerland (french speaking cantons).

Responsibilities

Job Description

Scheduled maintenance and repair of ultrasound medical devices in accordance with technical documentation and/or modification instructions;
Independent diagnosis and solution of technical problems at the customer site as well as problem solving using remote diagnosis as a regional online engineer
Completion of all administrative tasks on time (in particular daily service reports, weekly worksheets, maintenance logs and other required documents);
Regular participation in training courses for technical innovations, also abroad Switzerland;
Maintenance of tools/instruments and test equipment and ensuring that they are calibrated.

Required Qualifications

In-depth knowledge and certified technical training in the fields of electronics / mechanics / electrical engineering (work experience in the medical sector appreciated);
Basic knowledge of IT tools dedicated to the diagnosis and connectivity of devices;
Predisposition to teamwork and integration into the company organization chart;
Fluency in verbal and written French and English essential (knowledge of German and/or Italian appreciated);
Ability to work independently and versatile;
Initiative and ability to quickly learn any new information;
Efficiency in planning and organizing work
