Job description

Telix Pharmaceuticals is a dynamic, fast-growing radiopharmaceutical company with offices in Australia (HQ), Belgium, Japan, Switzerland, and the United States. As Workforce Communications Lead at Telix, you will be instrumental in fostering clear, engaging, and effective communications for the benefit of all employees. In this role, you will develop and implement internal communication strategies that align employees with Telix’s mission, ensuring they stay informed, engaged, and connected. You will craft compelling content, manage internal communication channels, and collaborate closely with leadership, People & Culture, Communications and IR, and other key departments to strengthen company culture, and enhance employee understanding and engagement with the broader business.

Key Accountabilities

Development and implementation of communication plans

    • Craft and execute internal communication plans to enhance employee engagement, transparency, and alignment with business goals.
    • Ensure consistent, clear, and relevant messaging across departments, particularly scientific, regulatory, and operational updates.
    • Work with the communications and IR team to interpret and cascade messages Telix communicates externally for appropriate internal dissemination

Channel management and Content creation

    • Drive improvements to internal platforms such as the Telix Intranet, digital displays, employee engagement apps, and collaboration tools (e.g., Viva engage, Kudos).
    • Write, edit, and manage internal content, including newsletters, emails, intranet updates, and employee announcements, and other communications material.
    • Translate complex scientific and regulatory topics into clear, engaging communication for a diverse workforce.
    • Work with the Risk and Governance and Health & Safety teams to provide guidance on crisis communication strategies to ensure employees are well-informed and engaged.

Employee engagement

    • Support the People & Culture team in strategically promoting company culture, values, engagement, learning and employee recognition programs.
    • Coordinate and produce internal online and hybrid events, such as town halls, company awards, leadership Q&As.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop and implement an EVP - defining the communication strategy for prospective candidates.

Mergers and acquisitions, and Org change

    • Develop and execute clear, timely communication plans to inform and align employees across businesses and/or departments about the rationale, timeline, and anticipated impacts of M&A activity, or organizational change
    • Drive internal messaging that supports cultural integration, role clarity, and changes in structure or processes, ensuring employees feel informed and engaged throughout the transition.
    • Create and manage feedback loops (e.g., surveys, Q&As, town halls) to monitor employee sentiment and adjust communication strategies accordingly

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications or corporate communications —preferably in healthcare, biotech, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
  • Experience in managing internal communication platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or Intranets.
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific information for broad audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, regulatory teams, People & Culture, and leadership.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
  • Experience in change management communications.
  • Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite) to create engaging visual content.
  • An interest in People & Culture processes and Change Management highly desired.
