Job description

We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer passionate about automation, continuous improvement, and challenging technical environments, for our customer, a global company providing next-generation cybersecurity solutions.

What will you do in this position?
  • Design and develop automated test suites focused on performance, longevity, limits, and edge cases.

  • Implement component integration tests, end-to-end workflows, and data flow automation.

  • Create quality test cases and automate them using testing tools.

  • Identify, report, and validate defects in collaboration with the QA team.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.

  • Participate in the design of test strategies for complex products and systems.

  • Enhance automation coverage with each new release.

  • Be responsible for end-to-end application quality and maintenance activities.

  • Support the deployment and debugging of simulated environments to reproduce customer-reported issues.

What should you bring?
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.

  • Experience with test automation tools like Selenium.

  • Scripting skills, preferably in Shell.

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Ansible and Jenkins.

  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.

  • Strong understanding of data structures, multithreading, performance monitoring, and optimization.

  • Experience working with Linux platforms.

  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB; additional experience with relational databases (RDBMS) is a plus.

  • Ability to design robust test cases and automate new or existing functionality.

  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with developers and QA team members.

  • Analytical thinking and critical problem-solving skills focused on software quality improvement.
