Position Purpose:
Under immediate direction, maintains sound customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed, accuracy and professionalism. Provides timely response of customer inquiries up to and including scheduling of pick-ups, billing, payments, product orders, etc., and all other aspects of a customer's needs.
This is a fully remote opportunity - Must be willing and able to work shifts Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am EST and 8pm EST
Key Job Activities:
• Handles routine customer care interactions and telephone answering service calls and is adept at providing excellent telephone etiquette, listening skills and empathy
• Communication vehicles may include telephone, e-mail, chat, video or other methods
• Actively participate in Customer Service training as a new hire and ongoing for development
• Uses excellent communication and multitasking skills to respond timely to customer inquiries and process requests
• Responds to inquiries on invoices, payments, and collections as outlined by the Customer Service Supervisor according to established standards with attention to style, tone, and manner of communication, received through the automated phone system, email, web, or mail regarding Stericycle products and services
• Researches customer issues and finds workable solutions
• Shares ideas with department that increase efficiencies and effectiveness of customer needs
• Performs necessary record keeping activities
• Performs other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
• Handles customer care calls based on training guidelines and responds according to specific guidelines within a prepared script or template. Communication vehicles may include telephone, e-mail, chat, video or other method.
• Contact Center accounts include data collection, order processing, appointment setting, information re-laying and electronically connecting clients and their callers.
• Must maintain key performance indicators and acceptable performance levels to support the assigned customer base. Must adhere to Stericycle company policies and code of conduct
• Work from Home Agents must comply with the Work from Home Policy.
• Maintains customer confidentiality as needed and required by HIPPA bi laws.
Education:
Experience (North America & LATAM):
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- Six or more months of general business experience, preferably in a customer service environment, or the equivalent in related work experience
- Professionalism skills
- Critical thinking and problem resolution skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong problem resolution skills
- This is a fully remote opportunity - Must be willing and able to work shifts Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am EST and 8pm EST
- Must be bilingual English/Spanish
