JOB HIGHLIGHT
The Revenue Operations Senior Manager will lead and optimize organizational development processes to grow revenue. They will help maintain clean data, advocate for continued process improvements, and work in collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization to enable an efficient development process and fulfill our donor promise.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice President, Revenue Operations & Analytics, the Revenue Operations Senior Manager will manage and continuously improve the operations of our fundraising teams, working cross-functionally with all Revenue departments in order to execute on charity: water’s donor promise at scale. You will proactively recommend and implement data solutions that support automation and reporting, with an emphasis on efficiency, consistency, and best practices for gift administration and information management. You’ll focus on improving functions that support effective, analytically-driven, and strategic operational decisions throughout the development process, from receiving a donation to allocating a donation to a water project.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR…
● Providing guidance and operational oversight for charity: water’s donation processing and data quality
● Managing gift processing and data quality staff
● Overseeing management of donations (both online and offline) in charity: water’s CRM and other supporting systems to ensure consistent and clean data and to support accurate revenue tracking, projections, and donor reporting
● Delivering on charity: water's unique business model (proof and transparency) by mapping and systematizing an optimal end-to-end donor process - from donation processing and classification to final donor reporting
● Overseeing the backfilling and cleaning of historical constituent, donor, and donation data
● Project managing, maintaining, and enhancing charity: water’s inventory management system that connects donors to their impact in the field
● Partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure all functions are aligned in order to deliver on our donor promise
● Partnering closely with Revenue teams, Analytics, Strategic Finance, and Accounting to enable analysis around the health of all donor fundraising by ensuring usable data, functional reports, and consistent metrics
● Creating and maintaining documentation for all donation processing and data quality processes and protocols
● Taking ownership of the experience and administration of major donor products, including bi-annual donor reporting, and ongoing communications, liaising with Programs, Creative, Marketing, and Product teams to execute on our donor promise
● Collaborating with Supporter Experience on strategy and coordination for new supporter cultivation and existing supporter stewardship
● Working with the UK charity: water team to streamline processes for financials and reporting for UK water donors
● Representing donation processing and data quality in cross-functional projects
● Informing and consulting on fundraising operations initiatives that will impact the allocation of donors and the accuracy of our reporting
YOU MUST HAVE…
● A Bachelor's degree
● 6+ years of revenue operations experience in a fundraising or sales setting
● Experience managing a team of fundraising professionals (donation processing or advancement/development operations areas are preferred)
● Experience managing and implementing CRM databases (Salesforce preferred)
● Experience project managing in a nonprofit organization
● A metrics-driven, entrepreneurial mindset that informs strategy and work
● Strong communication skills
● Well-honed management skills, with demonstrated success in team building
● Extensive knowledge of best practices in philanthropy
● Attention to detail
● Problem-solving abilities paired with excellent judgment

TEAM OVERVIEW
The Revenue Operations team is at the core of charity: water’s business model and works to ensure we make good on our donor promise at scale. The team works diligently to bring all teams into alignment around our data infrastructure and donor operations. They are constantly looking for efficiencies and ways to systematize an optimal end-to-end major donor journey, from donation processing to final donor reporting.

SALARY RANGE
This is an exempt role with a range of $83,193 - $103,990 a year.
