Job Location: Remote (Based out of Baton Rouge, LA – 7389 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70806)

Note: Open to USC, GC, GC-EAD, and TN holders. 3 professional references required.

Job Description:

The State of Louisiana – Wildlife and Fisheries (WLF) is seeking an experienced Application Programmer to develop a centralized Data Management System (DMS) for tracking and reporting on various wildlife species, Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs), and operational programs. This system will replace the existing Deer Management Assistance Program (DMAP) system and streamline data currently managed in spreadsheets.

Full Stack Web Development – Expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and HTML.
Database & Application Design – Ability to build relational structures and scalable systems.
Project Execution & Documentation – Participate in Agile development cycles and provide quality assurance, training, and documentation.
Team Collaboration – Work closely with State personnel, attend design sessions, and support knowledge transfer.
