Job description

• Work independently or collaboratively with teams to produce polished print and digital publications with minimal supervision.

• Set up, adjust, and operate complex publishing software and systems across pre-press, press, and post-press stages.

• Undertake advanced-level graphic design and art layout tasks using a variety of tools and platforms.

• Use expert-level skills in Canva, Google Sites, and Issuu.com to create visually compelling content for both internal and external distribution.

• Ensure materials meet brand and technical specifications, and performs rigorous quality checks throughout the production process.

• Identify and diagnose quality variations in products and/or materials, making the necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with production standards.

• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance of publishing tools and systems in line with their accredited training and skill level.

• Develop concepts.

• Maintain organized archives of templates, assets, and completed projects for consistency and future use.

• Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and best practices in desktop publishing and design.
