Job Scope

As the Senior Pricing & Contracts Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Strategic Accounts team by managing, analyzing, and executing tasks related to pricing strategies, contracts, and customer agreements. Your work will drive pricing and profitability optimization across our orthopedic product portfolio, contributing to Acumed’s continued growth and success.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute pricing strategies aligned with corporate goals, leveraging expertise in pricing, deal desk, or revenue management.

  • Optimize pricing and profitability across our orthopedic product portfolio by partnering with cross-functional teams and performing annual price adjustments and margin impact analysis.

  • Support National Account Managers with contract management, pricing analytics, and business planning to maximize revenue growth within key accounts.

  • Conduct contract analysis for GPOs, IDNs, and ASCs, maintaining competitive positioning and margin integrity.

  • Perform “what-if” scenario analysis and RFP impact modeling to guide pricing decisions.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize pricing performance and highlight opportunities.

  • Utilize advanced Excel tools (pivot tables, macros, power queries) to conduct detailed pricing analysis.

  • Use statistical and data visualization tools (box plots, scatter plots, histograms) to identify pricing variability and segment trends.

  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance pricing operations.

  • Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Product Management, and other departments to ensure timely and compliant proposal responses.

  • Communicate contract updates and manage the contract log both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field—or equivalent experience.

  • 5–10 years of experience in Pricing or Contract Management, preferably within Orthopedics or Medical Devices.

  • Strong analytical mindset and confidence engaging cross-functional teams.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data validation.

  • Power BI experience for building dashboards and reports.

  • Experience with ERPs such as SAP or Oracle.

  • Proficiency with data visualization/statistical tools (Python or R is a plus).

  • Ability to independently adapt quickly with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent organization and time management, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Collaborative and proactive team player with strong communication skills.
