Job description

We are looking for a self-driven and detail-focused Interop Support Analyst to join our team. Your responsibilities will include managing and supporting both existing and upcoming integrations with our clients and EMR partners. 

The ideal candidate will bring a solid technical foundation, excellent communication abilities, and hands-on experience maintaining integrations. Familiarity with ETL and integration workflows is essential. While development experience is a plus, it is not a requirement.   

The hours for this role are: 8:00am to 5:00pm CST, Monday – Friday

Requirements

Essential Functions: 

    • Maintain and support existing data integrations with clients and EMR vendors. 
    • Assist in implementing new interoperability projects using Mirth Connect and APIs. 
    • Monitor data exchange systems to ensure continuous performance and reliability. 
    • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely and efficient manner. 
    • Document processes, integration configurations, and standard operating procedures. 
    • Assist in testing and validating data during integration implementations and when needed to support our Clinical Operations team. 
    • Analyze and enhance integration workflows to increase efficiency across EMR integrations. 
    • Partner with internal teams, vendors, and clients to understand requirements and needs around integration and project Go-Live deliverables. 

Qualifications: 

    • 2+ years of experience in healthcare EMR interoperability/integration. 
    • HL7, FHIR, and healthcare data exchange experience required.  
    • Strong understanding and experience with integration engines such as Mirth Connect. 
    • Experience with APIs, data transformation, and ETL processes. 
    • Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical issues independently. 
    • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented with strong documentation practices. 
    • Development or scripting experience is a bonus but not required. 
    • Comfortable with wiki-based departmental documentation. 

Preferred Skills: 

    • SQL and data query proficiency. 
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms and environments such as Azure and AWS. 
    • Knowledge of healthcare workflows and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
