GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: United Digestives Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective customer service to patients, vendors, insurance companies, and other medical facilities. The position requires excellent telephone communication skills, and a high level of skill in entering data into the computer while talking with patients.

RESPONSIBILITES

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college or Associates Degree preferred; 2 years of customer service experience in a health care organization is required, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Must be customer service oriented, computer literate and able to operate an Electronic Medical Record (preferably eCW), and multiple Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of medical terminology, effective mathematical and analytical skills are required, along with advanced trouble shooting skills.

Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment, travel as business needs dictate.
