The role:
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain robust software systems that power our clients payment model and platform, with a focus on Python on Django.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design and develop high-quality, scalable backend services using Python and Django.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
● Architect and implement RESTful APIs and data processing pipelines.
● Contribute to code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality and best practices.
● Instill engineering excellence across the team.
● Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
● Participate in agile development processes and technical planning.
Required Skills & Experience:
● Bilingual in Russian and English.
● 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
● Strong proficiency in Python programming.
● Extensive experience with Django web framework and related technologies.
● Solid understanding of database design and SQL/NoSQL databases.
● Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
● Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
● Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with AI/ML technologies and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
● Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
