Autoscribe, a leading innovator in premium payment processing solutions since 1989, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Sales to accelerate our growth and lead our national sales organization for the PaymentVision product line. This executive role is critical in shaping the future of how businesses securely manage and scale their payment operations.

As VP of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing a forward-looking sales strategy, expanding our market share, and building a high-performance team that consistently exceeds goals. You’ll bring a data-driven approach to sales leadership, a deep understanding of the payments or fintech landscape, and a passion for driving results through trusted partnerships.

The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and lead a high-performing sales team. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in scaling sales operations, entering new markets, and fostering a performance-driven culture.

Essential Functions

  1.  Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities and trends to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Own the revenue forecast and deliver consistent, predictable results.
  1. Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales organization.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide coaching to meet and exceed targets.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  1. Customer Engagement & Market Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Lead expansion efforts into new geographies or verticals.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing to align go-to-market strategies, messaging, and lead generation efforts.
  • Work closely with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide insights to the executive team on market trends and customer needs.
  1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Establish and track KPIs to assess sales effectiveness and optimize efforts.
  • Present regular reports and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
Position Type and Work Schedule and Location
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work dependent on timely delivery of work product and deliverables. Travel expected to be 30%.

Education and Experience
1. 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive role.
2. Proven track record of scaling revenue in a FinTech/Payments environment and a strong understanding of the industry.
3. Strong understanding of Salesforce, sales analytics, and forecasting tools.
4. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
5. Experience building and leading geographically distributed teams.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
