Job Title: Senior Accountant 

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $100,000 + 10% Bonus (Depending on Experience) 

This role can be remote anywhere in the US. (East Coast time zone is preferred)

Position Overview 

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing accounting activities, completing account reconciliations and month-end closing tasks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.  Additionally, this role requires cross-department collaboration and strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a rapidly evolving tech environment. This position reports to the Accounting Manager. 

Responsibilities  

• Prepare and/or review journal entries and account reconciliations and supporting schedules. Analyze account activity to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. 

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and coordinate with other departments to ensure all necessary information is captured for the close process. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and ensure smooth operational processes. 

• Monitor cash flow and help manage the company's liquidity. 

• Oversee the reconciliation and elimination of intercompany transactions and balances, ensuring accurate consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities within the organization. 

• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting, safeguard company assets, and comply with financial regulations and policies. 

• Support external audit and tax requests, and ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements.  

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in financial reporting.  

• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested. 

• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 

• CPA license preferred 

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance 

• Public accounting experience preferred 

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial regulations, and accounting principles 

• Revenue recognition & ASC 606 expertise 

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of the organization 

• Able to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment 

• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results 

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills 

• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred
