Job description

The Role: 

To support the Sourcing and Compliance teams in executing our strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights, process improvement recommendations, and effective data structures support. This role is designed to offer hands-on expertise in our day-day operations to enhance effectiveness through automation, data accuracy, data visualization and action tracking. 

Daily & Monthly Responsibilities 

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of department reports, dashboards, and status trackers. 

  • Assist in analyzing supplier performance data and market trends to baseline cost-saving and/or risk mitigation opportunities. Including Capacity, Score-carding and Competitive Quotation assessments. 

  • Collaborate with the department personnel on supplier and product level data validation and maintenance. Actions will help ensure enterprise systems like ERP, PLM will stay accurate and utilizable. 

  • Routinely strategize on process improvement initiatives and after alignment with Team leads; autonomously manage project delivery. 

  • Contribute dataflow expertise and mapping support to other enterprise level projects such as PLM Implementation. 

  • Ensure created tools and scripts are updated as systems and process versions evolve. Conduct training and add documentation for end users. 

  • Handle ad hoc tasks and research projects as assigned by the team lead. 

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, DrawIO) is a plus. Working knowledge of NetSuite and Saved Search creation / maintenance would be advantageous. 

  • Able to independently convert concepts to Python scripts (on an IDE, Python for Excel or others); create executable files, maintain logic and structure as well as maintain documentation 

  • Knowledge of SQL Database set-up (including SQL Queries) and maintenance. Further experience with database administration tools like DBeaver would be advantageous. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment prioritizing collaboration and delivery. 

  • Familiarity with sourcing or compliance processes is desirable but not required. 

    This is a Fully Remote Position
    Open to countries outside of the Philippine

    Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm EST
