Salary Range:             $178,000 - $188,000 per year

Telecommuting:          Applicants are permitted to work remotely from an at-home work site anywhere in the United States

JOB DUTIES: Design, develop and maintain data management systems according to best practices and architectural guidance. Enhance, maintain, and support existing applications. Lead and manage teams, collaborate with developers in designing and business partners - Architects, Quality Assurance, Release Management, and the Change Management. Plan, design, develop and implement solutions. Recommend new processes and document reoccurring processes that will help streamline software development. Participate in all phases of the software engineering life cycle (SDLC). Ensure the necessary platform technical documentation is maintained in an appropriate manner. Provide technical troubleshooting and advanced debug support.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Engineer, Software Developer (or related occupation) designing, developing and maintaining data management systems using MS SQL Server and Oracle and performing SQL and PL/SQL data mining and optimization within a financial services environment.

Alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Engineer, Software Developer (or related occupation) designing, developing and maintaining data management systems using MS SQL Server and Oracle and performing SQL and PL/SQL data mining and optimization within a financial services environment.

Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section):

  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") designing, developing, and maintaining data management systems using Master Data Management (MOM) SaaS; designing and implementing MDM solutions to provide single source of Truth for various subject areas; and developing MDM functionality and MDM Tool - Cloud S&P Global (previously known as IHS Markit) and lnformatica MDM SaaS.

  • DE designing test scenarios based on business requirements and functional specifications; and coordinating with development teams to track the delivery of the module.

  • DE designing and implementing the continuous integration/continuous delivery (Cl/CD) pipeline for Informatica MDM SaaS in Cloud S&P Global (previously known as IHS Markit) using Team Foundation Server (TFS), GIT and GITHub - for code maintenance, and deploying tools including Team City and Octopus for pushing code to higher environments.

  • DE configuring data model modules to analyze the front end UI field length; and conducting data profiling and data analysis; using Markit EDM Core & User Interface to design dataflow and create master data for different entities, and creating dynamic screens for business that help with the operational activities; using Access Control and Environment Maintenance using S&P Global (previously known as IHS Markit), Reltio, Oracle Data Relationship Management(DRM), Oracle Customer Hub (previously known as Siebel Universal Customer Master), and Siebel Customer Relationship Management - CRM tools.


 

Pay Range:

$178,000 - $188,000

 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
