What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

Job Summary

Strategic finance business partner directly supporting the US Core Products and Distribution sales leadership team. This role is crucial in driving strategic sales initiatives, providing data-driven insights, and fostering strong partnerships with sales leaders and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include supporting sales performance analysis, ad hoc problem solving, and defining foundational strategies and opportunities for improved customer analytics.


This manager role is responsible for:

  • Business partner for VP's leading in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the US Core Products and Distribution business. Significant opportunities to develop and present insightful reports and dashboards to senior management.

  • Proactively identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities, offering solutions and recommendations to mitigate risks and maximize profitability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies are integrated into operational plans and decision-making processes.

  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and financial transparency within the team.


Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred

  • Business partnering and strong communication skills preferred

Anticipated salary range: $103,500 - $155,295
