Hiring Travel Physical Therapists (PT) – Premium Rates!

Are you a compassionate and skilled PT looking to make a real difference in the lives of patients? Join Dover BAYADA at Bayhealth as a Travel PT, where you'll play a crucial role in setting the stage for successful patient care, safe transitions and positive outcomes for patients.

Join our team of travel PT’s where you can build the flexible schedule that works for you! Weekends, weekdays, evenings – we will work with your availability.

This position is a 13-week commitment (with option to extend) that allows you the flexibility to work a minimum of 8 shifts per month doing home health visits with patients in Kent and Sussex Counties.

We provide a premium rate differential plus mileage reimbursement.

As a Travel PT with Dover BAYADA at Bayhealth you will:

Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as the mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, strength and endurance of muscles, balance testing, and safety assessments.
Develop and implement appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy - PT care plan, and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other client representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.
Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
Implement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair utilizing evidence-based dressings and topical agents

Requirements:

Active and current license to practice as a professional Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of DE.
Previous home health experience required.
Must commit to a 13-week assignment and a minimum of 8 shifts per month.
OASIS experience required; previous HCHB experience preferred.
Ability to travel throughout the region based on our census.
Ability to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Compensation:

Based on experience and type of visit -
- $200 - $212 per Start of Care visit
- $80 – $85 per Routine visit
