The Impact You Will Have

This position reviews and processes more difficult collection or overpayment accounts via telephone or in writing and responds to accounts orally or in writing for Medical, Group, Prescription, and/or SelectAccount.

Your Responsibilities:

Prepares delinquency or overpayment notices on non-routine and routine accounts and communicates the notice to the affected account(s).
Maintains records and files on accounts. Reviews and process collection items and posts to accounts.
Answers inquiries concerning accounts.
Traces unpaid items to determine reasons for nonpayment or overpayment and negotiates payment arrangements with accounts.
Prepares various schedules and special reports.
Balances collection totals and makes adjusting entries to appropriate accounts.
May participate in the appeals process.
Provides direction and/or training to the Collection Specialists.

Required Skills and Experiences:

3+ years of related experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.

Teleworker

Role designation definition: Teleworking is working full time remote. Hybrid is a combination of working onsite and remotely. Onsite is full-time onsite.

Compensation and Benefits

$21.00 - $26.25 - $31.50 Hourly

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
