Job description

The Workday Engineer is responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Workday platform within the organization. This role works closely with Human Resources, Finance, and IT teams to ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of the system, aligned with business needs. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement technical solutions within Workday (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Absence, etc.). 
  • Participate in the configuration of workflows, business rules, integrations, reports, and security in Workday. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions. 
  • Manage system updates, testing, and validations for Workday releases. 
  • Create and maintain integrations with internal and external systems (e.g., payroll, ATS, ERP). 
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide second-level technical support related to the platform. 
  • Document configurations, processes, and technical flows. 
  • Collaborate on Workday module implementation or expansion projects. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Intermediate-advanced English proficiency (B2/C1). 
  • 3+ years of experience working with Workday as a configurator or technical engineer. 
  • Experience with at least two Workday modules. 
  • Experience with integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, APIs). 
  • Knowledge of Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Workday Security. 
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex integrations. 
  • Desirable experience with tools like ClickUp, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar. 
  • Intermediate-advanced English (for documentation and international collaboration).
