About our group:

We are a dynamic team within the Edge IOT group in Seagate, responsible for creating messaging and marketing initiatives for all consumer products. This includes developing positioning framework, driving key marketing initiatives as well as creating launch documents and plans for our Consumer Products. Once a project is formally kicked off, you will bring the product to life under your messaging and visual direction. The Consumer Solutions Group is a nimble and forward-facing part of Seagate, representing the brand to the world.

About the role - you will:

As a Senior Staff Global Program/Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be developing robust product launch plans and launch products into the market. You will ensure that every package, web page, and product shot aligns with the desired look and feel. This role requires quick information processing and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with others. You will be part of a core team, interacting with creative services, business owners, channel marketers, operations, engineering, technical marketing and customer care.  You will own the product marketing activities as well as be the voice of the product in Retail, On-line and in the Channel.

Required Skills:
•    Product Positioning: Expertise in developing and implementing product positioning strategies to differentiate products in the market.
•    Market Research: Ability to conduct thorough market research to understand consumer needs and preferences.
•    Brand Management: Skills in managing and enhancing the brand image through effective marketing campaigns.
•    Creative Direction: Experience in providing creative direction for marketing materials, including packaging, web pages, and product shots.
•    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with various departments, including creative services, business owners, channel marketers, operations, and customer care.
•    Customer Insights: Proficiency in gathering and analyzing customer insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
•    Campaign Management: Experience in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and sales.
•    Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to convey ideas and collaborate with stakeholders.
•    Storytelling: Ability to tell compelling stories about the product to engage customers and stakeholders.
•    Strategic Thinking: Skills in developing and executing strategic plans for product success.

 

Your experience includes:

•    Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is a plus.
•    Strong presentation skills.
•    Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
•    Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a bonus but not required.
•    Experience to mock up visuals as well as create videos is a bonus but not required.
•    A sense of humor and the ability to have fun in your role.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $138,000 - $200,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
