Job description

Title: Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure & Terraform

Interview process-- 2 rounds of an hour panel Interview , focus will be on technical skills. |
Pay Rate :: $63.64/hr to $67.94/hr

Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure & Terraform

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Terraform, driving the design, automation, and management of our Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices. This role requires a proactive, self-directed professional who can quickly adapt to our environment and take ownership of critical cloud initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Develop and manage Terraform modules and scripts to automate provisioning and configuration across multiple environments
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to integrate infrastructure automation within CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and security
• Contribute to and maintain code repositories using Git for version control
• Document processes and contribute to best practices for cloud automation and operations

Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including advanced configuration and security best practices
• Proven expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies
• Solid background in SRE, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles with a focus on automation
• Strong experience with Git for code versioning and collaboration
• Ability to quickly ramp up and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication within cross-functional teams
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Ansible AWX for configuration management and orchestration
