Join Our Team as a Senior Product Manager!

By joining OLX as a Platform Senior PM, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the core technology that enables millions of people to safely and conveniently trade every day. About the role

As a Platform Senior Product Manager at OLX, you will lead a portfolio of internal platform products that power our global marketplace, reaching over 322 million users across 30+ countries. You'll own the vision and roadmap for key domains like developer enablement (CI/CD tools, productivity frameworks), shared services (libraries and microservices), advertising infrastructure, and core mobile frameworks.

Your primary focus will be building scalable, reusable capabilities that support OLX's internal teams, especially engineering and product teams, with potential for future external use. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering and product to design robust solutions, ensure alignment with business goals, and define metrics to track impact on developer productivity, system reliability, and cost efficiency.

This role is both strategic and technical, driving the foundation that enables faster, more reliable delivery across all of OLX's customer-facing products. As part of OLX's platform team, you'll play a critical role in accelerating innovation and operational excellence across the company.

Who are we looking for?
  • Someone with 5+ years Proven Product Management Experience: managing complex products with a strong track record of driving strategy and delivering results. Background in platform or technically-oriented products (e.g. internal tools, B2B SaaS, infrastructure, developer platforms) is preferred.
  • A Product Manager with strategic, analytical and metrics-driven mindset. Skilled at crafting bold product visions and translating them into actionable strategies and roadmaps. Uses data and clearly defined success metrics to evaluate impact - such as productivity gains, performance improvements, and cost reduction.
  • Someone with a solid grasp of software development and architecture fundamentals, able to engage engineers on design trade-offs. Familiarity with cloud services, APIs, microservices, and developer tooling; CS/engineering background is a plus.
  • A team player experienced in leading across Engineering, Design, QA, Data, and DevOps. Adept at stakeholder management and aligning diverse teams around a shared platform vision and roadmap.
  • Excellent Communicator with User Empathy. Able to simplify complex technical topics for varied audiences, including senior leadership. Writes clear documentation and champions internal users, understanding the needs of OLX developers and product teams to improve their experience.
  • Driven Individual, Adaptable and Mission-Aligned. Takes full ownership, drives initiatives through to completion, and embraces continuous improvement. Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is passionate about enabling OLX's mission through great platform products. Knowledge of marketplaces or ad tech is a bonus.

    • What you will be doing:
  • Product Strategy and Vision. Defining and communicating a clear strategy and long-term roadmap for OLX's internal platform products, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals and technical direction. Prioritizing high-impact initiatives that support internal teams and enable future growth.
  • End-to-End Ownership of Platform Domains. Owning core platform areas such as developer enablement (CI/CD, tooling), shared services/components, advertising infrastructure, and mobile app frameworks. Driving scalability, reliability, and reusability across teams and markets.
  • Internal Customer Advocacy. Acting as the voice of OLX's internal users - engineers, data scientists, product teams - deeply understanding their workflows, pain points, and needs. Ensure platform solutions improve developer experience and address real internal customer challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Alignment. Working closely with engineering, DevOps, architecture, product managers, and business stakeholders to co-create platform solutions. Promote a "platform-as-a-product" mindset and ensure services alignment with team roadmaps and organizational goals.
  • Execution and Scalability. Leading platform initiatives through the full product lifecycle - from discovery to delivery - while managing dependencies, timelines, and quality. Design systems and APIs for scale, reusability, and flexibility to support future external or multi-market use cases.
  • Measurement, Governance and Continuous Improvement. Defining and tracking KPIs like adoption rates, time-to-market, system performance, and developer satisfaction. Use insights to drive improvements. Establishing governance standards (e.g., documentation, APIs, change management) and staying current with industry best practices to maintain OLX's technical edge.
