UX UI - Senior Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the design and user experience efforts for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in design systems, atomic design principles, and user-centered design. This role requires a strong ability to define personas, create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs. The Senior UX/UI Designer will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to craft intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across digital products.
• Apply atomic design principles to create reusable UI components.
• Conduct user research to define personas, understand pain points, and drive design decisions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Define and enforce UX/UI best practices, ensuring accessibility (WCAG compliance) and usability.
• Utilize data-driven design by leveraging analytics and user feedback for continuous improvement.
• Advocate for user-centric design while balancing business goals and technical constraints.
• Stay updated on emerging design trends, tools, and methodologies.
• Provide pre-sales support by assisting on pitches and early client conversations.
• Participate and contribute to internal proof of concepts to explore innovative UX/UI solutions.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  
  

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design systems, user flows, and high-fidelity UI.
• Proven expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and other design tools.
• Deep understanding of design systems and atomic design patterns.
• Experience defining personas and user journey mapping.
• Strong knowledge of interaction design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) for design handoff.
• Experience with front-end development is a plus.
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead design reviews, mentor junior designers, and communicate design rationale effectively.
  
  

CERTIFICATIONS (Preferred)

• Certifications in UX/UI design, Human-Centered Design, or related areas.
• Training in design thinking methodologies.
  
  

Skill Requirements

• Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and design collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Hands-on experience with user testing, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to develop wireframes, prototypes, and conduct usability testing.
• Experience with motion design and microinteractions is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, balancing multiple projects effectively.
