As an AWS DevOps engineer lead on our Cloud Platform team within our Enterprise Hosting Solutions organization, you'll be an integral part in developing solutions for Public Cloud AWS capabilities. Progressive’s Cloud technologies are focused on creating infrastructure solutions that empower the business to execute initiatives at improved speed and quality over conventional approaches. In this role, you’ll will focus heavily on compute, AI services, serverless, and networking including automation of associated capabilities with implementation in the cloud, agile and DevOps. You will also lead engagements with Amazon AWS Technical Platform resources as well as help mentor and coordinate AWS Cloud Core Services technical resources on deliverables.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must-have Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Math) and minimum of six years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
In lieu of degree, minimum of eight years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.

Preferred Skills

Experience designing, architecting, building, and deploying cloud infrastructure solutions.
Strong grasp of foundational AWS topics (e.g. EC2, RDS, VPC, DynamoDB), along with AWS Serverless (e.g. Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, etc.), AWS Organizations, networking, monitoring, and cloud security.
Strong working knowledge of AWS AI services including AWS Bedrock and Amazon Q Developer.
Exposure to CI/CD tool chains such as GitHub and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform.
Scripting and general software development knowledge (i.e. Bash, Python, Terraform/AWS CloudFormation, JSON, YAML)

Compensation

$128,000-$143,000/year
Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
