Channel Success Manager – EMEA/APAC

Job Description

The Channel Success Manager is responsible for supporting the development, executing and measuring sales marketing plans, lead-generation programs for channel-ready products. This includes all aspects of joint program participation, direct marketing and awareness campaigns, partner seminars and events, promotions and follow-up on sales activities by partners. In addition, this person will have a minimum bi-weekly (preferred weekly) cadence (along with our sales team) with the dealer senior management to review pipeline updates (movement in sales pipeline, new opportunities, gather details on requirements to get sales closed, documenting needs, follow-up and support requirements. The channel manager will be tightly interlaced with our sales directors, and sales team as well linked with our service organization to document certifications and support needs, as necessary.

The Channel Success Manager will also work with the product marketing to define requirements for partner sales tools, partner communications, and partner trainings. Supporting our marketing efforts to ensure dealer sales teams are engaged and capable of communicating our value proposition.

Continuously deliver ROI reporting metrics on all executed activities business plans, manage lead flow within SalesForce.com and provide marketing reviews on a regular basis. This person will work closely with the channel sales teams, field marketing teams, and sales management to drive company initiatives.

This position reports to the VP of Sales EMEA/APAC

Major Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the local SDM support and drive sales.
  • Track market and channel trends and adjust channel strategies accordingly.
  • Document competition in each market. Understand who is our competition, gather as much insights to provide pricing and other data to provide up to market by market analysis to assist in developing a tactical response as required.
  • High focus on reinforcing our expectations of selling a minimum of one unit per Quarter and that the EFI products are being represented.
  • Develop and execute annual marketing and demand creation/promotional plan.
  • Manage channel marketing budget and expenses including forecast accuracy.
  • Lead marketing efforts associated with product business line reviews at account.
  • Coordinate training for channel sales teams.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing Managers to support ongoing priorities, including product presentations, trade shows, research and competitive intelligence.
  • Analyze sales reports and market feedback from internal and external sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and market share growth/decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes.

Education/Experience

BA / BS, MBA Preferred

Percentage of Travel: up 15%

Experience: 3-5 years in marketing

3 years B2B marketing experience required with additional experience in capital equipment markets.
