Responsibilities

This is a hybrid role that involves supporting some in-person programs, which will require you to be located near Sydney, Australia, within a commutable distance.

Your future team

We're hiring an experienced Senior Program Manager, reporting into our Head of Culture, Growth and Innovationon the CTO Strategic Initiatives team. You will oversee business and site operations across Australia and New Zealand for Atlassian. As a member of the this team, your role will be responsible for driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of strategic site programs. These programs are crucial in our endeavor to establish a world-class engineering organization and create an exceptional workplace experience for Atlassian employees.

What You'll Do

  • Create impact and collaborate with a diverse set of partners on a variety of teams to address business problems including:
  • Build vibrant and productive regional environments where teams work harmoniously, united by Atlassian's core values.
  • Retain and develop talent, that raises the bar for Atlassian engineering organization.
  • Build a culture of 'giving back to the community' in the sites, partnering with Foundation advocates.
  • Become a trusted strategic partner through the structure and clarity of your work.
  • Build and own decision-making framework for issues improving the Australian sites.
  • Establish goals and metrics to measure the effectiveness of site leadership efforts.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on efforts, including progress against goals, project status and market insights.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant work in business operations, site management, program management, HR, or event planning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including experience with facilitating meetings and engaging with an executive audience).
  • Experience leading high-impact, programs or projects with a strong sense of urgency and commitment
  • Demonstrated flexibility and a history of delivering results in a ambiguous and fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done through taking calculated risks and experimenting with new solutions
